  • 3-Strand Polyester
    Polyester – A high density multifilament rope incorporating high tenacity white filament in a four stage, plied yarn construction. Among conventional synthetic ropes, polyester has the lowest stretch, best abrasion resistance, and good dielectric properties. Standard color is white.
  • 8-Strand Polyester

  • 8-Strand Prodac®
    ProDac® – A value composite rope with an abrasion resistant polyester cover over a polypropylene core.
  • California Truck Rope
    A 100% monofilament polypropylene twisted rope. Filament for this rope is extruded at Orion from virgin poly resins. Good UV resistance. Black with one orange tracer in each strand.
  • Extra-Lene®
    Extra-lene® – A composite rope poly-dac rope. Extra-lene® combines the superior abrasion resistance of polyester cover with the economy of polyolifin core. White with one orange tracer in diameters up to 3/4″. Two orange tracers in diameters above 3/4″
  • Manila
    Manila – A natural fiber rope with less strength than synthetic of equal diameter. Excellent rendering characteristics as needed in block and tackle work. Manila has very little stretch and will burn rather than melt under high friction.
  • Polyester

  • Prodac®

  • Sisal
    Natural biodegradable material. Holds knots well. Low strength, low stretch and susceptible to rot. Excellent for gardening, bundling and non critical applications
  • Starline®
    Starline® is a light and easy handling rope, but has strength and elongation characteristics approaching that of pure polyester. One single blue tracer in a single strand.
  • Superpro®
    Orion’s Sima extrusion process blends polypropylene and high modulus polyethylene resins to produce the co-polymer fiber used in making SuperPro® ropes. SuperPro® is 35% stronger and has many times the abrasion resistance of conventional polypropylene products, with low-elongation characteristics equivalent to pure polyester. Orion’s testing shows that SuperPro® significantly outperforms other “blended olefin” fibers that are extruded using processes other than Sima. SuperPro® co-polymer rope, available exclusively from Orion Ropeworks, offers the best performance-price value.
