• Polyester

  Polyester – A high density multifilament rope incorporating high tenacity white filament in a four stage, plied yarn construction. Among conventional synthetic ropes, polyester has the lowest stretch, best abrasion resistance, and good dielectric properties. Standard color is white.
• Polyester – Durastat

  Polyester double braid has slightly higher strength as compared to nylon, but there the similarity ends. Opposite to nylon, polyester has the lowest stretch of any conventional synthetic fiber. With low stretch, double braid polyester is ideal for controlled lifting and pulling applications such as use with winches, capstans, chives, block and tackle. Other benefits of double braid polyester include, limited creep, and high abrasion resistance.
• PolyPlex

  Constructed of high tenacity polyester wrapped polyolefin yarns. Produces a firm line with good strength to weight ratio. Does not rotate under load. Easily spliced, stays flexible, good handling properties and does not kink or hockle. Designed for use as T & D Stringing lines and hand lines.
• PolyPlus®

  Poly Plus™ – With its distinctive two red tracers Poly Plus™ is the most well known combination rope on the market. A firm lay poly-dac with high tenacity polyester wrapped over a co-polymer core providing good abrasion resistance and strength.
• Potwarp Polypropylene

  Black Poly – 100% monofilament, extruded from virgin resins. Commercial fishing lay. Floating.

  Polypropylene is the lightest and most economical synthetic rope, with approximately twice the tensile strength of manila. Polypropylene rope will not rot or mildew, is resistant to most chemicals and acids, floats in salt and fresh water, and can be stored wet.

• Radiant Film Plastic Tying Twine

  The combination of high strength, reasonable cost, and excellent knot tying ability makes Radiant Twine versatile for use in many applications. Available in a wide range of sizes for both light and heavy duty tying jobs.
• Sisal

  Natural biodegradable material. Holds knots well. Low strength, low stretch and susceptible to rot. Excellent for gardening, bundling and non critical applications
• Slick-Tape

  Produced from Aramid fiber, this product is very lightweight with high strength and a high melting point. Designed for high temperature plenum duct applications. Most lengths offered with easy to read sequential footage markings for accurate measuring.

• Superior Nylon

  Superior Nylon is made from 100% high tenacity multifilament nylon fiber. The rope is manufactured at full weight with a medium firm lay, resulting in true nylon performance. Orion Superior Nylon is heat-set with steam in the filament stage. This process leads to reduced hardening in use resulting in a rope with consistent firmness workable throughout its service life. Orion's proprietary marine finish is applied to each nylon filament to reduce internal yarn abrasion and water absorption. This added step gives the rope extended service life in an outdoor marine environment.

• Superpro®

  Orion’s Sima extrusion process blends polypropylene and high modulus polyethylene resins to produce the co-polymer fiber used in making SuperPro® ropes. SuperPro® is 35% stronger and has many times the abrasion resistance of conventional polypropylene products, with low-elongation characteristics equivalent to pure polyester. Orion’s testing shows that SuperPro® significantly outperforms other “blended olefin” fibers that are extruded using processes other than Sima. SuperPro® co-polymer rope, available exclusively from Orion Ropeworks, offers the best performance-price value.
• Unmanila

  Tan-colored KNOT TITE twisted rope is the synthetic replacment for Manila rope. An excellent product for decorative applications and on projects where a traditional look is desired.
